I created the Hyatt comparison chart below so that you may compare the benefits of the Gold Passport program versus the World of Hyatt program easily at a glance and at your convenience.
Regardless of the program and status level, none of the following benefits changes:
- Earn five base points earned for every eligible United States dollar spent.
- All levels of membership will continue to have Points + Cash Free Night Awards and more rewarding opportunities.
- Use your points on exciting rewards including free nights with no blackout dates, room upgrades, dining and spa treatments. Redeeming points for meals and spa treatments is available at participating locations. Not available at Hyatt Residence Club resorts. Free nights start at just 5,000 points. The World of Hyatt program adds the verbiage that you can use your points at Hyatt hotels and resorts; and that this is not valid with packages.
Hyatt Comparison Chart Between Gold Passport and World of Hyatt
The colors used in the chart are the actual colors used by Hyatt for both the Gold Passport and the World of Hyatt frequent guest loyalty programs — as well as the membership status levels.

This chart is not meant to be detailed — nor does it include anomalies which are not part of the chart…
…but I would eventually like to add them here so that you can refer back to this article any time you need an easy reference tool to help remind you of the information associated with each frequent guest loyalty program and membership status levels. I plan on updating this article with additional information.
