Where Can You Find Gasoline for Less Than $1.70 Per Gallon in the United States?

n increasing number of states in the United States have fuel stations which are selling gasoline at less than $1.70 per gallon as of the time this article was posted…

…but which states are these; and where are those fuel stations located?

Here is a list of four states — according to GasBuddy.com — where fuel stations which are selling gasoline at less than $1.70 per gallon are located:

  • Indiana Gasoline costs $1.69 per gallon at one fuel station in Russellville, which is located approximately 55 miles west of Indianapolis
  • Tennessee Four fuel stations in Athens — which is located approximately halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville — and one fuel station located a few miles northeast in Niota sell gasoline for $1.69 per gallon; but one fuel station in particular in Athens sells it for as low as $1.66 per gallon
  • South Carolina If you are Aiken for some cheap gasoline, you will find no fewer than eight fuel stations in this city only a few miles east of Augusta, Georgia which sell gasoline for $1.66 per gallon and one fuel station selling it for $1.68 per gallon; and you will find gasoline sold for $1.69 per gallon at a fuel station located in New Ellenton, which is a few miles south of Aiken
  • Ohio Sorry, South Carolina; but Ohio now has three fuel stations where gasoline is even less expensive at $1.65 per gallon, while four other fuel stations selling gasoline for $1.68 per gallon — all of them located in the western suburbs of Cleveland known as Avon, Rocky River, Westlake and North Olmsted

Click on the names of the states in the list above for the exact location of the fuel stations which sell gasoline at less than $1.70 per gallon; and if your state is not on the list above, it is quite likely with the continuation of decreasing gasoline prices that there are fuel stations located within it which sell gasoline for less than $2.00 per gallon — if you know where to look.

The most expensive fuel station in the 50 United States is located in South San Francisco in California, where the price is $5.03 per gallon.
