40 Percent Off With Amtrak Northeast Sale 2019 — But Hurry

…but you must book your reservations by Thursday, August 1, 2019.

This promotion is valid for travel in the economy class section only — no accommodation upgrades are permitted — for discounted one-way coach rail fares based on the regular full adult rail fare on all service on the following:

  • Acela
  • Northeast Regional train service — including
    • Empire Service
    • Vermonter
    • Reserved sections of the Keystone
    • Reserved sections of the Pennsylvanian

Select Terms and Conditions

One child between the ages of 2 years old and 12 years old may accompany each adult at half the regular full adult rail fare.

Seating is limited, as seats may not be available on all trains at all times. Fares are subject to availability. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. Exchanges are permitted within the ticket validity period — but a cancellation fee of 25 percent applies. No additional discounts apply. Fares, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice. Once travel has begun, no changes to the itinerary are permitted; and no upgrades to business class are permitted.

Other terms, conditions and restrictions apply.

Be sure you thoroughly do your research before booking your reservation even though you can potentially save money as a result of this sale, as the required deposit cannot be refunded or canceled once your reservation is booked. Shop airfares and the rates of other modes of transportation prior to booking your reservations — unless your heart is set on seeing the northeastern United States anywhere between Norfolk in Virginia and Saint Albans in Vermont by rail.
