I enjoyed aerial views of Buffalo on a clear and sunny day from the airplane aboard which I was a passenger shortly after it departed from Buffalo Niagara International Airport on its way to Atlanta recently.
Aerial Views of Buffalo. Sunday Morning Photograph.

Downtown Buffalo is clearly visible in the center of both photographs as the Niagara River flows from Lake Erie and meanders past the city and under the Peace Bridge, which connects Interstate 190 in Buffalo in New York in the United States with Queen Elizabeth Way in Fort Erie in Ontario in Canada. Unity Island appears in the river in the upper left of the photograph below. KeyBank Center can be easily identified by the distinctive white dome roof on the left side of both photographs, with Buffalo River alongside it.

Final Boarding Call
Trivia time: Buffalo Niagara International Airport celebrates 100 years in existence in 2026 since it first opened as Buffalo Municipal Airport in 1926.
