All-Inclusive Experience Now Offered in Las Vegas by MGM Resorts International.

Is it worth the money?

I am likely heading back to Las Vegas in a few weeks; and during my research for the trip, I stumbled upon an all-inclusive experience that is now offered in Las Vegas by MGM Resorts International effective as of Monday, April 6, 2026.

The All-Inclusive Experience includes:

  • Your reservation for a stay of two nights at either Luxor or Excalibur
  • Meals and drinks — hours of operation vary; and gratuities are not included:
    • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two people for each night of your stay
    • Special menus at ten participating outlets across MGM properties — including:
      • Excalibur: The Buffet at Excalibur, TAP Sports Bar
      • Luxor: Pyramid Cafe, Backstage Deli, Public House, Diablo’s Cantina
      • New York-New York: Tom’s Watch Bar
      • Mandalay Bay: Noodle Shop
      • MGM Grand: MGM Grand Buffet, TAP Sports Bar
    • One beer or wine per meal per guest, plus non-alcoholic beverages
    • Children ten years of age and younger eat free at the buffets at Excalibur and MGM Grand; and at TAP Sports Bar at Excalibur and MGM Grand — or, a $10.00 menu for kids will also be available at select restaurants throughout Luxor and Excalibur
  • Two tickets to your choice of six shows that are redeemable at any MGM Resorts property box office — subject to availability and dark days:
    • Excalibur: The Australian Bee Gees, The Mac King Comedy Magic Show, Thunder from Down Under
    • Luxor: Blue Man Group, Carrot Top, FANTASY: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease
  • One ride per guest on The Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York during operating hours at any time during your stay

To put this to the test, I selected the random dates of checking in to a Royal Tower Two Queen room at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on Monday, June 15, 2026 and checking out on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The lowest rates were available on numerous dates — and not just in June of 2026. The subtotal was $329.02 for two days.

When $14.44 in taxes were added, the grand total came out to $343.46, which was $171.73 per night.

The All-Inclusive Experience reservation will earn MGM Rewards Points and Tier Credits on eligible charges — plus, one can earn a rebate of three percent when booking the reservation through Rakuten, which in this case totals $10.30…

…and if you are not a member of Rakuten yet, today, Tuesday, March 31, 2026 is your last chance to cash in on a $50.00 new member referral bonus when you sign up as a new member of Rakuten; and you will receive a bonus of $50.00 via referral when you spend a minimum of $50.00 within the first 90 days of your new membership, which is one of the best referral offers from Rakuten.

For comparison purposes, the total cost of Royal Tower Two Queen room at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on the same dates for the room itself was $130.62 at the time this article was written…

…so are the select meals at select dining venues, one beer or wine per guest per meal, two tickets to your choice of six shows, and one ride per guest on The Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York worth an extra $212.84?

The answer to that question is subjective. For me, the value proposition is not there because I do not drink alcoholic beverages and none of the shows appeal to my interests. Also, I am also not all that crazy about the limited choices of menu options and dining venues — I have dined at The Noodle Shop at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Las Vegas, which is one of the dining venues — although I probably could get them to work for me…

…but the All-Inclusive Experience might be worth the money for someone who takes full advantage of what is included in the package.

The claim at the official Internet web site of MGM Resorts International is that “One upfront price covers your room, meals, show tickets, attraction passes, resort fees, and parking. That’s over $400 in savings vs. booking separately. Just show up at Luxor or Excalibur and let Vegas do the rest.”

The All-Inclusive Experience apparently does not include the cost of parking a vehicle. Also, I found no way to capitalize on earning or redeeming Marriott Bonvoy points in connection with the All-Inclusive Experience despite the official reciprocal partnership that was formed between Marriott International, Incorporated and MGM Resorts International having been in effect for greater than two years.
