While I was walking in a gated community, I noticed that the signs for the parking spots for visitors in a small parking lot were not aligned with the actual parking spaces.
I do not particularly understand the misalignment.

What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 42: Coronavirus Edition
“Why do you believe the term ‘social distancing’ to be oxymoronic?” was this comment which was posted by Brutus — who is a reader of The Gate — in response to this recent article I wrote called 12 Overused Terms of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Era; and I would like to think that the photograph which is the featured image of this article may be perfect in answering that question…
…as well as the photograph shown above.
I found the city of Canton in Georgia promoting in posters for people to “get social with us” ironic with the signs which dictate “social distancing required” during the current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic — to the point that I found it also humorous — and to me, distancing is a word whose meaning is about as opposite to the meaning of the word social as possible.

Favorite comment by Lee: “We won’t tell you how far to be apart, but it only applies for if someone is wearing pants and the other is wearing skirt. But if you need to take the frat boys photo like our poster, you can be as close as you want. (But the required distance seems to be on either end of town.)”
What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 43
During a visit to a different park, I found this sign — and according to it, this park contains six fields and an area which contains concessions and restrooms.
If this sign is supposed to be a map or directory of the fields, it arguably failed miserably…
…to the point at which someone shot at this sign with a gun or some weapon of sorts — perhaps out of frustration — judging by the several indentations in the metal sign.

A reference to the 2 green barrel trash cans would be helpful.
They also are all different shapes and sizes – no idea what those fields are used for.”
What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 44: Coronavirus Edition
As businesses reopen around the world slowly and in phases after being closed due to the current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic, most of them have been strongly encouraging the distancing of their customers and employees with notices affixed to their doors and windows — and during one of my long walks, I took a photograph of one of those notices.
My original thought was that if I simply wanted to browse the merchandise, would I still be allowed inside even if five customers were already inside of the store, as I would technically not be considered a customer?
Only afterwards did I notice the misspelling of the word understanding — and it was on all of the copies of the notice.
This store needs to hire a proofreader.
But of course, readers of The Gate came up with some great comments, as usual.

What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 45
During a walk in yet another park, I saw this scoreboard in a field and just had to take this photograph. The only part of the photograph which was retouched is that the advertiser on the left side of the scoreboard was removed.
When I looked at the scoreboard for the first time, I read “Guest to go home” on it.
