Brisbane in Australia From the Air. Sunday Morning Photograph.

It is a larger city than I thought.

As a passenger seated by a window aboard an airplane that was operated by Qantas Airways on my way to Sydney, I saw views of the city of Brisbane in Australia from the air and took photographs of it.

The sprawl of the city and its surrounding areas is easy to see from the air.

The Gateway Bridge carries highway M1 across the Brisbane River, which winds its way within the greater metropolitan Brisbane area with many curves.

Final Boarding Call

Trivia time: Brisbane is both the capital city and the largest city in the state of Queensland in Australia. With approximately 2.8 million people, Brisbane is the third largest city in Australia in terms of population.
