A t the time this article was posted, you can fill up your tank with gasoline at $1.49 per gallon at a Sinclair fuel station located in Tulsa; while the average price for a gallon of gasoline has dipped below $2.00 per gallon in six states, according to GasBuddy.com:
Missouri | $1.825 |
Oklahoma | $1.869 |
Kansas | $1.909 |
Texas | $1.963 |
Minnesota | $1.990 |
Ohio | $1.997 |
While gasoline prices are still dropping — and I understand that the trend of the decrease in price is expected to continue through the winter months, so additional fuel stations should dip below $1.50 per gallon for gasoline — there is one town which is feeling the pain of a sharp increase.
Crawfordsville — located in Indiana approximately 45 miles northwest of Indianapolis — had prices as low as $1.42 for a gallon of gasoline within the past few days; but the price has jumped back up a whopping 33 cents per gallon to $1.75 per gallon, according to this article written by Holly Campbell of WISH TV Channel 8 News.
I will bet that anyone who decided to wait to fill up his or her tank in Crawfordsville is regretting it right about now…
