Certain Student Housing Residents to Unlock Exclusive Hilton Honors Benefits
Hilton has partnered with American Campus Communities — which is the largest developer, owner and manager of high-quality student housing communities in the United States — to provide more comfort and added value to students who are finding their new home away from home.
Residents of American Campus Communities who are members of the Hilton Honors program will soon have access to exclusive benefits — including up to 15 percent off of the best available room rates — and an accelerated track to Hilton Honors elite status sometime in the spring of 2025, which will unlock travel benefits worldwide.
This partnership augments the acquisition of Graduate Hotels to become Graduate by Hilton back on Monday, October 14, 2024 with more options for guests to enjoy handcrafted, locally inspired stays that are conveniently located near academic communities which guests can experience, support, and celebrate — along with the official sponsorship by Hilton of The Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Network, offering exclusive experiences and perks to student athletes, team personnel, and college football fans.

This is a smart move by Hilton. I personally know of several people who have decided to be loyal to Hilton while they were still in college. These marketing moves are similar to those of what was then known as Apple Computer, Incorporated, which supplied schools with Macintosh computers and resulted in loyal customers before graduating from school, college, or university.
