Cruise Bar in Sydney. Restaurant Review.

The view was the highlight of this dining experience.

After viewing and photographing the Sydney Harbour Bridge and a cruise ship in Australia, I waited until sunset so that I can see the same scene at night. Unfortunately, the sun sets later in the summer; and the walk back to Circular Quay was at least 30 minutes. I wanted a bite to eat with a view of the water; but most of the restaurants were either closing or already closed. Cruise Bar in Sydney appeared to be a viable option for me at that late hour.

Cruise Bar lives up to its name, as it has a full bar. Additionally, Junk Lounge is on level two of the building; and the rooftop is on level three.

I was seated at a table that was outdoors. I did see a mouse scatter by on the floor in the darkness towards the large flat-screen television; but I attributed that to being close to the water at Circular Quay Wharf and not to a lack of cleanliness.

Final Boarding Call

Although the prices are a bit expensive, I recommend dining at Cruise Bar in Sydney for a quick bite to eat — or to simply relax and enjoy the views. The food was good and the service was decent. Most of all, the view is to be enjoyed.

I would have rather had a fuller and longer dining experience; but this sufficed before returning to the hotel property.

The total cost of the meal that was highlighted in this article was $38.88 in United States dollars.
