…but you must book your reservations for lodging, vacation rentals, and rental vehicles with Delta Air Lines through Monday, June 24, 2024. The earnings of Medallion Qualification Dollars exclude:
- Taxes
- Fees
- Gratuities
- Room service
- Other reservation booking charges
- Any element of the reservation which is paid or reduced by:
- The redemption of miles
- Redemption vouchers
- Discount codes
A qualifying rental vehicle reservation includes vehicle rentals at a participating location at rates other than:
- Travel industry rates
- Travel industry discounts
- Wholesale of tour package rates
- Wholesale of tour package discounts
- Wholesale tour package rates
- Insurance replacement rates
- Dealer replacement rates
- Corporate rates
- Government rates
- Group travel discounts
- Rentals in conjunction with a frequent flier car award, or other corporate agreements applicable to the respective car company.

This promotion is great if earning SkyMiles Medallion elite status with Delta Air Lines for next year is of the utmost importance to you — but because you are booking your reservations through a “third-party site”, you will likely not enjoy the benefits of elite status of lodging membership programs or rental car membership programs.
The best use of this promotion is for booking reservations at local, non-chain hotel and resort properties outside of the United States in which multinational lodging companies — such as Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Marriott as four examples— have no presence.
