Fast Track Elite Status Offered Again 2022 By Hyatt Corporation For American Airlines
…and just as had been done every year since the collaboration began, members of both the American Airlines AAdvantage and World of Hyatt frequent travel loyalty programs who have earned elite level status are once again able to link their membership accounts and enjoy the following benefits when staying at a Hyatt hotel or resort property or flying as a passenger on an airplane operated by American Airlines.
American AAdvantage
- Members who have earned Gold, Platinum, Platinum Pro, Executive Platinum and ConciergeKey elite level status will earn one AAdvantage bonus mile for every eligible dollar spent at qualifying Hyatt hotel and resort properties — in addition to World of Hyatt points earned through those stays.
- ConciergeKey members will receive Globalist elite level status with World of Hyatt — In addition to earning more miles — as a way to extend the care provided throughout the entire travel journey.
World of Hyatt
- Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist members will be able to earn one World of Hyatt bonus point for every eligible dollar spent on qualifying flights operated by American Airlines — in addition to AAdvantage miles which are earned.
Limited Time Elite Status Challenge is Once Again Now In Effect
Although previous iterations of this promotion were reciprocal, members of American Airlines AAdvantage who have earned Platinum, Platinum Pro, or Executive Platinum can match their elite status to World of Hyatt; enjoy their new loyalty benefits immediately; and then complete a challenge within 90 days of registration to maintain that elite tier status through February of 2024 of staying a minimum of:
- Ten eligible nights to earn the Hyatt Explorist elite status tier
- 20 eligible nights to earn the Hyatt Globalist elite status tier
Those requirements are only one third of the typical requirements which are otherwise needed to earn those aforementioned tiers of elite status with World of Hyatt.
AAdvantage elite members will have access to World of Hyatt elite status benefits — including a dedicated check-in area, late check-out upon request, room upgrades and free premium internet.
You will need to log in to your World of Hyatt membership account to see the current offer which is available through Wednesday, November 30, 2022 — meaning that you can start the 90 day challenge later instead of sooner, if you so choose — as the offer you receive will depend on the current elite level status which you have already earned.
Final Boarding Call
Keep in mind that even though you will receive all applicable benefits with the corresponding tier of elite status you receive, you will not be eligible to receive any of the Milestone Rewards you would normally receive for completing the standard requirements — including Free-Night Awards, Suite Upgrade Awards, and Club Lounge Access Awards.
Otherwise, this is a promotion of which you should take advantage if you have already earned elite status in the American Airlines AAdvantage frequent flier loyalty program.
