Taking a respite from the important hard-hitting breaking urgent travel news of the day — such as an airline passenger who snorts cocaine and brandishes a knife while claiming he is Genghis Khan, a guest setting his hotel room on fire before leaving for the airport, a controversial chief executive officer of an airline being named the chairman of an airline alliance, a last call for registering to attend virtual training sessions on how to travel, and countless so-called credit card “deals” — I thought I would help end this week on a fun note…
Happy 21 Day!
…as today is Friday, May 21, 2021 — which means that today is the 21st day of May at the start of the 21st full week of the 21st year of the 21st century, as 2021 started on Friday, January 1, 2021.
I am not sure of the last time something similar to this happened. The 20th week of the 20th year of the 20th century did occur sometime in the spring of 1920 — but I am sure that that did not occur on the 20th day of May or the 20th day of April.
Therefore, this coincidence only occurs once in our lifetime.
Summary
As I wrote in this article pertaining to Countdown Day on Saturday, April 3, 2021, let us hope that the current 2019 Novel Coronavirus pandemic will officially be declared over as soon as possible so that we can all travel again…
…and that today is a great, fun, and healthy day for you — especially if you are 21 years old today — as every day should hopefully be for you.
Happy 21 Day!
