The unusual design of exterior hotel windows in Phoenix caught my eye while I was recently in that city. The windows that are featured in this article are those of a hotel property that was completed in 1975…

…and that hotel property is the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel. The precast curved concrete of the windows purportedly block up to 70 percent of the heat of the desert sun.
