Sometimes you need an infusion of miles or points to your membership account for whatever reason — perhaps to have enough to redeem for a limited time award as one example — and the best time to purchase or gift miles or points is when they are on sale.
Miles and Points: Latest Sales
A sale may be a discount on the price required to purchase miles or points — or perhaps the frequent travel loyalty program from whom you are buying the miles or points will match your purchase up to 150 percent, which is another way of reducing the cost of miles or points.
Offers to purchase miles and points are not usually highlighted in their own articles here at The Gate. Rather, they are compiled in this article — typically whenever a new sale is announced or an old sale expires — so that you can shop for miles and points from different frequent travel loyalty programs conveniently in one spot and compare the sales to what you want or need.
Note that you may get a different offer from some of the frequent travel loyalty programs than what are posted in this article — especially when the offer is touted as a “mystery bonus” or some other vague term.

Choice Privileges: Up to 40 Percent Bonus
You only have until Wednesday, April 28, 2023 to take advantage of receiving a bonus of up to 40 percent on your purchase of Choice Privileges points with a minimum purchase of 8,000 Choice Privileges Rewards points in one transaction — and the maximum amount of points which you can purchase this year is 180,000 points.
Hilton Honors: 100 Percent Bonus Points
You can receive a bonus of 100 percent on any purchase of a minimum of 5,000 Hilton Honors points — up to a maximum limit of 160,000 Hilton Honors points for $1,600.00, which is $0.005 per point when factoring in the bonus points — but you have until the end of the day on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 to take advantage of this offer.
World of Hyatt: 25 Percent Discount
Until the end of the day on Friday, June 2, 2023, you can enjoy a discount of 25 percent on the purchase of a minimum of 5,000 World of Hyatt points — that is, spend a maximum of $1,980.00 to receive a total of 110,000 World of Hyatt points instead of spending $2,640.00.
Wyndham Rewards: 40 Percent Bonus Points
Starting with a minimum of 3,000 points, you can buy up to a maximum total of 120,000 points during the promotion period and get a bonus of 40 percent on your purchase through Friday, April 21, 2023.
Air Canada Aeroplan: Up to 85 Percent Bonus Points
Until the end of the day on Sunday, April 30, 2023 — you can purchase or gift a minimum of 15,000 Aeroplan points and receive a bonus or up to 85 percent.
Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airways Flying Blue: Up to 100 Percent Bonus Miles
Sharing the Flying Blue frequent flier loyalty program are Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Transavia, Aircalin, Kenya Airways, and TAROM — plus, you can redeem Flying Blue miles for flights operated by many partner airlines. Until Sunday, April 30, 2023, you can purchase Flying Blue miles and receive a bonus of up to 100 percent more miles — Flying Blue members who have earned elite status may purchase up to 300,000 miles per transaction before the bonus is added; while other members may purchase a maximum of 100,000 miles — as follows:

The regular price for purchasing Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles is $27.50 per 1,000 miles; but until Sunday, May 21, 2023, you can purchase a minimum of 3,000 miles and receive a bonus of up to 60 percent more miles as follows:
- Buy 3,000 to 19,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles = 40 percent bonus Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles
- Buy 20,000 to 39,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles = 50 percent bonus Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles

American Airlines AAdvantage: Up to 35 Percent Discount
You can purchase or gift up to a maximum of 150,000 AAdvantage miles in order to receive a discount of up to 35 percent — for a cost of $3,668.44 for 150,000 miles — through the end of the day on Sunday, April 30, 2023 as follows:
- Buy or gift 5,000 to 54,000 AAdvantage miles = 20 percent discount
- Buy or gift 55,000 to 149,000 AAdvantage miles = 25 percent discount
- Buy or gift 150,000 AAdvantage miles = 35 percent discount
Copa Airlines ConnectMiles: Up to 60 Percent Bonus Miles
Enjoy a bonus of up to 60 percent on Copa Airlines ConnectMiles with a minimum purchase of 5,000 miles through Wednesday, May 10, 2023 as follows:
- Buy 3,000 to 9,000 ConnectMiles = 40 percent bonus ConnectMiles

Emirates Airline Skywards: 35 Percent Bonus Miles

JetBlue Airways TrueBlue: Up to 70 Percent Bonus

Remember that each frequent travel loyalty program has partners through which you can redeem miles or points; so you are not confined just to the product offered by an airline or lodging company.
Also be sure to read the terms and conditions of each other. Typically, all sales are final: once you have purchased your miles or points through these sales, you cannot return your points; and your money cannot be refunded.
