Sometimes you need an infusion of miles or points to your membership account for whatever reason — perhaps to have enough to redeem for a limited time award as one example — and the best time to purchase or gift miles or points is when they are on sale, as with this miles and points on sale for Friday, July 11 2025.
Miles and Points On Sale — July 11 2025
A sale may be a discount on the price required to purchase miles or points — or perhaps the membership program from whom you are buying the miles or points will match your purchase up to 150 percent, which is another way of reducing the cost of miles or points.
Offers to purchase miles and points are not usually highlighted in their own articles here at The Gate With Brian Cohen. Rather, they are compiled in this article — typically once per week; but also possibly when a new sale is announced or an old sale expires — so that you can shop for miles and points from different frequent travel membership programs conveniently in one spot and compare the sales to what you want or need.
Note that you may get a different offer from some of the frequent travel loyalty membership programs than what are posted in this article — especially when the offer is touted as a “mystery bonus” or some other vague term.

Hilton Honors: 100 Percent Bonus Points
You can receive a bonus of 100 percent on any purchase of a minimum of 5,000 Hilton Honors points — up to a maximum limit of 160,000 Hilton Honors points — through the end of the day on Thursday, July 24, 2025, which comes out to $0.005 per Hilton Honors point.
World of Hyatt: 20 Percent Bonus
Until the end of the day on Monday, July 21, 2025, you can enjoy a bonus of 20 percent on the purchase of a minimum of 5,000 World of Hyatt points — that is, spend a maximum of $1,430.00 to receive a total of 66,000 World of Hyatt points. That comes out to $0.022 per World of Hyatt point.
IHG One Rewards: 100 Percent Bonus Points
You have until the end of the day on Thursday, July 17, 2025 to take advantage of receiving a bonus of 100 percent on IHG One Rewards points with a minimum purchase of 5,000 IHG One Rewards base points and up to a maximum limit of 200,000 IHG Rewards base points for $2,000.00 — not including the bonus points.
Marriott Bonvoy: 30 Percent Bonus Points
You can buy or gift a minimum of 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points — up to a maximum total of 150,000 points that does not include the bonus points — and get a bonus of 30 percent through Wednesday, July 16, 2025. That comes out to $0.089 per Marriott Bonvoy point.
Wyndham Rewards: 50 Percent Bonus
Starting with a minimum of 3,000 points, you can get a 50 percent bonus on your purchase of up to 150,000 Wyndham Rewards points through Wednesday, August 6, 2025. That comes out to $0.087 per Wyndham Rewards point.
Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan: Up to 40 Percent Bonus Miles
The regular price for purchasing Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles is $27.50 per 1,000 miles; but until Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:59 in the evening Pacific Daylight Time, you can purchase a minimum of 3,000 miles and receive a bonus of up to 40 percent more miles as follows:
- Buy 3,000 to 14,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles = 30 percent bonus Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles or $0.0211 per Mileage Plan mile
- Buy 15,000 to 100,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles = 40 percent bonus Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles or $0.0196 per Mileage Plan mile
American Airlines AAdvantage: Up to 40 Percent Discount
You can purchase or gift up to a maximum of 200,000 AAdvantage miles in order to receive a discount of up to 40 percent — for a cost of $4,515.00 for 200,000 miles — through the end of the day on Thursday, July 31, 2025 as follows:
- Buy or gift 3,000 to 9,000 AAdvantage miles = 10 percent discount or $0.0339 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 10,000 to 29,000 AAdvantage miles = 15 percent discount or $0.0320 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 30,000 to 89,000 AAdvantage miles = 20 percent discount or $0.0301 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 90,000 to 150,000 AAdvantage miles = 30 percent discount or $0.0263 per AAdvantage mile
- Buy or gift 151,000 to 200,000 AAdvantage miles = 40 percent discount or $0.0226 per AAdvantage mile
Avianca LifeMiles: Up to 160 Percent Bonus Miles
Receive a bonus of 160 percent when you purchase a minimum of 1,000 Avianca LifeMiles to a maximum of 200,000 Avianca LifeMiles through the end of the day on Monday, July 14, 2025, which comes out to $0.01269 per LifeMile as follows:
- Buy 1,000 to 20,000 Avianca LifeMiles = 140 percent bonus LifeMiles
- Buy 21,000 to 200,000 Avianca LifeMiles = 160 percent bonus LifeMiles or $0.0127 per LifeMile
Copa Airlines ConnectMiles: Up to 100 Percent Bonus
To commemorate ten years of the Copa Airlines ConnectMiles membership program, enjoy a bonus of up to 100 percent on Copa Airlines ConnectMiles with a minimum purchase of 5,000 miles through Thursday, July 31, 2025 as follows:
- Buy 5,000 to 14,000 ConnectMiles = 50 percent bonus ConnectMiles
- Buy 15,000 to 29,000 ConnectMiles = 70 percent bonus ConnectMiles
- Buy 30,000 to 100,000 ConnectMiles = 100 percent bonus ConnectMiles or $0.015 per ConnectMile
JetBlue Airways TrueBlue: Up to 125 Percent Bonus Points
Monday, August 11, 2025 is the last day on which you can purchase a minimum of 3,000 TrueBlue points and receive a bonus of up to 125 percent with JetBlue Airways, which comes out to $0.0143 per TrueBlue point.
Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards: Up to 50 Percent Discount
Through Tuesday, July 22, 2025, purchase a minimum of 3,000 Rapid Rewards points and receive a discount of up to 50 percent, which comes out to $0.015 per Rapid Rewards point.
Virgin Atlantic Airways Flying Club: Up to 60 Percent Bonus Miles
You can receive a bonus of up to 60 percent on Flying Club miles through Friday, July 18, 2025 at midnight Greenwich Mean Time when you purchase a minimum of 5,000 Virgin Atlantic Airways Flying Club miles as follows:
- Buy 5,000 to 24,000 Flying Club miles = 20 percent bonus Flying Club miles
- Buy 25,000 to 69,000 Flying Club miles = 30 percent bonus Flying Club miles
- Buy 70,000 to 124,000 Flying Club miles = 50 percent bonus Flying Club miles

Remember that each frequent travel loyalty program has partners through which you can redeem miles or points; so you are not confined just to the product offered by an airline or lodging company.
Also be sure to read the terms and conditions of each offer. Typically, all sales are final: once you have purchased your miles or points through these sales, you cannot return your points; and your money cannot be refunded.
