A sale may be a discount on the price required to purchase miles or points — or perhaps the frequent travel loyalty program from whom you are buying the miles or points will match your purchase up to 150 percent, which is another way of reducing the cost of miles or points.

World of Hyatt: 25 Percent Discount
Until the end of the day on Monday, April 14, 2025, you can enjoy a discount of 25 percent on the purchase of a minimum of 5,000 World of Hyatt points — that is, spend a maximum of $1,072.50 instead of $1,430.00 to receive a total of 55,000 World of Hyatt points.
IHG One Rewards: 100 Percent Bonus Points
You have until the end of the day on Saturday, March 29, 2025 to take advantage of receiving a bonus of 100 percent on IHG One Rewards points with a minimum purchase of 5,000 IHG One Rewards base points and up to a maximum limit of 200,000 IHG Rewards base points for $2,000.00 — not including the bonus points.
The Leading Hotels of the World Leaders Club: Up to 100 Percent Bonus Points
Through Friday, March 28, 2025, you can purchase a minimum of 2,000 The Leading Hotels of the World Leaders Club points and receive a bonus of up to 100 percent as follows:

- Buy or gift 6,000 to 24,000 AAdvantage miles = 10 percent discount
- Buy or gift 25,000 to 79,000 AAdvantage miles = 15 percent discount
- Buy or gift 80,000 to 104,000 AAdvantage miles = 20 percent discount
- Buy or gift 105,000 to 149,000 AAdvantage miles = 25 percent discount

Avianca LifeMiles: Up to 160 Percent Bonus Miles

JetBlue Airways TrueBlue: Up to 120 Percent Bonus Points
Sunday, April 20, 2025 is the last day on which you can purchase a minimum of 3,000 TrueBlue points and receive a bonus of up to 120 percent with JetBlue Airways.
Miles & More: 50 Percent Bonus
Sharing the Miles & More membership program are Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Discover, Eurowings, Lufthansa, SWISS, Croatia Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, and Luxair — plus, you can redeem Miles & More miles for flights operated by many partner airlines. Some reports indicate that an alternative offer of up to a 50 percent discount on the purchase of miles is available to some members of the MileagePlus membership program instead.
Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles: 40 Percent Discount
Every Friday through Friday, March 28, 2025, you can receive a discount of 40 percent on your purchase of Lotusmiles.

Remember that each frequent travel loyalty program has partners through which you can redeem miles or points; so you are not confined just to the product offered by an airline or lodging company.
Also be sure to read the terms and conditions of each offer. Typically, all sales are final: once you have purchased your miles or points through these sales, you cannot return your points; and your money cannot be refunded.
I have purchased miles and points on rare occasions — and if you need to do so from the aforementioned frequent travel loyalty programs, now is the right time.
