We woke up in our room at Casa Lucia Meliá Collection in Buenos Aires the next morning to have breakfast before heading on our way to Ushuaia, which is sometimes referred to as el fin del mundo, which translates to English as the end of the world because it is the southernmost city on the planet.
On Our Way to Ushuaia — First by Bus to the Airport
We decided to bring our belongings down to the lobby and check out before partaking in the complimentary breakfast buffet so that we could board one of the three buses that awaited our group to take us to the airport.

One of the three buses awaited us outside of the hotel property.

The inside of the bus was fairly comfortable — although the overhead storage area was too small to be of much use.

Very little storage was available under the seats as well.

Final Boarding Call
I could not believe we were on our way to the ultimate destination of Antarctica. We had come a very long way; but we still had a very long way to go. At least two additional days would elapse until we finally got to the isolated continent…
…or so we thought…
