Peek-a-boo Kangaroo in Australia. Sunday Morning Photograph.

Peek-a-boo is not a species of kangaroo.

One particular kangaroo in Australia was “playing” peek-a-boo with me at Tower Hill Wildlife Preserve in the state of Victoria earlier this year.

We locked eyes on each other for a good old fashioned “stare down”.

Legend has it that we are still intensely staring at each other to this very day, with neither one of us relenting.

Trivia time: Wild animals are free to roam in Tower Hill Wildlife Preserve, which is also known as Tower Hill State Game Reserve and is not surrounded by a fence or any other barrier.
