While waiting for a flight at Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal at Keflavik International Airport in Iceland last year, I witnessed rays of sun shining down from the clouds above.

The contrasts in the sky between the clouds and the sunlight were quite unusual.

Trivia time: Leifur Eiríksson Air Terminal in Iceland was named after Leif Ericson, for whom the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn between Knapp Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway is named after, which is also known as Leif Ericson Drive. Leif Ericson was born in the year 960 and is credited with possibly being the first explorer from Europe to set foot on the continent of North America almost 500 years before the voyages of Christopher Columbus.
