Rays of Sun During Flight. Sunday Morning Photograph.

Beams from the sun would not be possible without clouds.

Viewing simple wonders such as rays of sun during flight is one of the many reasons why I prefer to sit in a seat by the window aboard an airplane.

The rays of sun are also known as sunbeams — and they can create a heavenly show.

Final Boarding Call

Trivia time: A sunbeam is a beam of sunlight that appears to radiate from the position of the sun via particles that are scattered in the sky and shine through openings in clouds or between other objects, such as mountains or buildings as two of many examples.
