Effective as of today, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, if you are renting a vehicle at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport, you are no longer required to use a shuttle thanks to the new Rental Car Center which opened as part of the terminal.
Renting a Vehicle No Longer Requires a Shuttle at Cincinnati International Airport
In addition to the new Rental Car Center, the airport terminal has also opened with two new expansions: Ground Transport West and Ground Transport East.
Rental cars will now be accessible by walking from baggage claim, as no shuttles are needed. Simply follow the signs in the terminal to Ground Transport West to the Rental Car Center inside the terminal.
If you need to rent a vehicle from the airport without being a passenger on a flight, then travel to the airport and follow the signs for Arrivals and Baggage Claim to the front curb of the terminal. Enter the terminal and follow the signs inside of the terminal to Ground Transport West to the Rental Car Center.
Additionally, any provider of ground transportation which drops off or picks up travelers at the curbside of the terminal may be dropping off and picking up in a different location — either Ground Transport West or Ground Transport East — beginning as of today, Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Providers of ground transportation include shuttles for parking, hotel properties, rideshare services, and CVG Valet parking.
