Known in English as the Rhine Falls, Rheinfall in Switzerland has been a part of the Rhine River for at least 15,000 years; and it is the most powerful waterfall in Europe with Laufen Castle overlooking it.
Rheinfall in Switzerland: Sunday Morning Photograph
Rheinfall is approximately 492 feet or 150 meters wide; 75.5 feet or 23 meters in height; and greater than 42.5 feet or 13 meters deep. As much as 600,000 liters of water flow per second in the summer.
I was there with a friend and his female friend to enjoy the scenery — from the swans wading in the water to the sun shining on the water.
