The “City Lights Sale” promotion is valid in select markets only. Reservations must be paid in full for the entire stay at the time of booking them; and once booked, they cannot be refunded. Discount is a minimum six percent discount off Advance Purchase rate and varies by hotel. Blackout dates apply. Rooms are subject to availability and certain room types may be excluded. Hotel policy varies in regards to the minimum length of stay required and number of guests allowed per room. Not applicable with other discounted rate promotions. Not applicable to group bookings. Hotel specific early departure fee applies. Venetian Palazzo and IHG Army Hotels are excluded from the promotion.
Summary
This sale can potentially save you money; but be aware that in some locations, availability is severely restricted. For example, I am not sure why InterContinental Hotels Group lists the entire province of Alberta as a location when I have attempted numerous times to book a reservation and only found one participating hotel property: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edson…
…so your mileage may vary pertaining to your success in enjoying maximum savings with this sale. Do your research — including comparing rates to hotel and resort properties of competing lodging companies — to ensure that you are indeed getting the best deal.
