Final Boarding Call
The original sign-up bonuses for the then-new four cards of the Hilton Honors American Express Card portfolio were then introduced on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Some of the sign-up bonuses were then permanently revised and improved on Friday, September 7, 2018.
The Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card and the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card were refreshed in 2023 with benefits that provide more value for travel and everyday purchases.
The special new offers are great for those looking to earn rewards towards future travel plans — but keep in mind that even the bonus of 175,000 Hilton Honors points for the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire card is not even enough for one night at select aspirational hotel and resort properties. For example, you will need a minimum of 250,000 Hilton Honors points to stay for one night at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi resort property; so you will still need another 75,000 Hilton Honors points after earning the bonus points.
