Somehow, sunrises and sunsets seem dissimilar in different places around the world — and although the sunset which I caught in Lesotho was not necessarily the best one which I have ever witnessed, it was somewhat unique, with the rolling hills of the country setting the stage for the show; and the unusual cloud formations providing the background…
Sunday Morning Photograph July 17 2022: Sunset in Lesotho.
…and the colors — reproducing those colors which I saw in person is virtually impossible to do here.
Especially notable about this particular sunset was that no light pollution from streetlights and other artificial sources of light was present to adversely affect or distract from its natural beauty.
Final Boarding Call
Completely landlocked within South Africa, Lesotho is one of those countries which seems to remain largely undiscovered, with amazingly pristine landscape seemingly undisturbed by technology in many places outside of the capital city of Maseru.
