Test Your Knowledge of Hotel Brands — April 2019 Edition
Listed in alphabetical order are 166 hotel brands with links to their official Internet web sites — some of which had their parent lodging companies removed from their official names. Can you guess which hotel brands belong to which of the aforementioned lodging companies by matching the numbers of the list below with the letters of the above list? You get worthless bonus points if you can state the specific purpose of each brand — for example, if it is suites, luxury or extended stay.

Summary
How do you think you did on the quiz?
Some of the hotel brands listed above are rather obvious as to which lodging company they belong; but others are certainly not so obvious.
I did not include such lodging companies as Meliá Hotels and Resorts, which has a limited footprint; or casino companies whose brands are as few as one hotel property.
I am considering writing an article to follow up this article pertaining to whether or not too many hotel brands exist — as well as whether or not enough differentiation exists between some of those brands — but I would first like to know your thoughts about hotel brands if you could please post them in the Comments section below; and you may be quoted in that aforementioned future article…
