Today Will Last 40 Hours. March 30 2025.

Literally, one of the longest days of my life — not figuratively.

Today will last 40 hours — March 30 2025 — because I am in the middle of traveling from Brisbane to Sydney to Dallas-Fort Worth to Atlanta; and I am scheduled to arrive in Denver later tonight…

Today Will Last 40 Hours. March 30 2025.

…but I believe that my all-time personal record is 41 hours in one day when I traveled from Auckland in New Zealand to Atlanta last year.

Sunday, March 30, 2025 is also the day on which I experience the transition from autumn in the southern hemisphere to spring in the northern hemisphere: within the span of two weeks, I have experienced all four seasons in the following order: winter, summer, autumn, and spring…

…and mixed in with that was Daylight Saving Time and other time changes, which left me wondering what was the time anywhere in the world.

I have never experienced any of that in all of my travels over the years.

Final Boarding Call

Travel is amazing to me. It allows me to experience things I would not otherwise experience in my life.

What is the longest day I had ever experienced in your life? Did it last longer than 41 hours? If so, please give details on how that happened.
