The latest news from Delta Air Lines announces that members of the SkyMiles program who have earned Medallion elite level status can receive day-of-departure complimentary upgrades to Delta One on all flights within the 50 United States effective as of Sunday, April 1, 2018 — and flights to Hawaii are included.
Unlimited Complimentary Upgrades to Delta One on All Domestic Flights Now Available — Including Hawaii
SkyMiles Medallion elite status members — including those who have earned the Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Medallion levels — will be eligible for complimentary upgrades to:
- Delta One within the 50 United States — clearing on the day of departure following the same clearance priority hierarchy as First Class Upgrades and subject to availability
- First Class — clearing based on the Medallion clearance windows and subject to availability
- Delta Comfort+ — clearing based on the Medallion clearance windows and subject to availability
Additionally, Regional Upgrade Certificates — which is a choice benefit option exclusive to Delta Air Lines which is available to SkyMiles members who have earned Diamond Medallion and Platinum Medallion elite level status — may be used on any flight that is eligible for complimentary upgrades. This includes all flights with First Class or the domestic Delta One experience.
