A political statement of sorts was apparently recently announced over the public address system at Gate A25 at the international airport which serves the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, as a passenger was somehow able to get “Delta Air Lines is Paging Recall Newsom” broadcast as a practical joke.
Video: “Delta Air Lines is Paging Recall Newsom”
An effort to recall Gavin Newsom — who is the current governor of California — has been under way, with no fewer than 46 candidates who qualified for the ballot in the second gubernatorial recall election in the history of the state.
Newsom — who is a member of the Democratic Party — has reportedly raised at least $32 million to fight the recall…
…but an individual identified only as Brick Suit — who apparently really wants Newsom out of office — allegedly was successfully able to have the announcement “Delta Air Lines is Paging Recall Newsom” broadcast over the public address system at the gate at which an airplane was scheduled to depart to Sacramento.
A video of the incident was posted on Twitter.
Sound on! Recall Newsom gets paged at the airport.

Laughter can be heard in the background by other individuals after the conclusion of the “page” that evening.
Final Boarding Call
Whoever actually paged that message over the public address system probably had no idea that the request was a political prank — especially as it occurred greater than 2,000 miles away from the epicenter of the aforementioned gubernatorial recall, which is likely why it was so easily successful — but a lot of people apparently found the incident to be funny.
I initially did not believe that the incident really occurred — which is why the words apparently, allegedly, and reportedly were used — because creating a fake video is even easier than ever these days…
…but I also have no reason not to believe that the video is real…
