What Is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 110

Hint: Look carefully.

I tend to notice the most minute things around me whenever I go for a walk; and what I spotted during a recent walk along a major thoroughfare was no exception and prompted me to take photographs.

  1. What is wrong in the photograph is the mile 17 markers are imprecise. One of them is clearly wrong if they are not both wrong. The “MILE 17” marker even has a correction with an added 7.

Also odd are the two driveways that are dead ends.

  2. Yes about the identical mile markers spaced apart. Also, strange that the address markers would increase by 10 between the first two driveways (2650 to 2660) then by 12 between the next driveways (2660 to 2672). And also, that’s a strange place along that road curve to have the center line dashed- it does not look like a safe passing zone.

    1. Georgia is like that. The dotted lines on a curve are closely spaced so they make the driver think that they are driving fast. I think this stretch of highway is divided so it is not a passing zone.

  3. Also, it sure looks like there’s a road sign facing the opposite direction of the “East 120 Mile 17” sign at the entrance to the Bridgegate community
