What Is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 296

I found this one by accident. Literally.

For this edition of this popular game, can you guess what you believe is wrong — or, at least, seemingly quite bizarre — with this screen shot part 296?

I was recently stuck in a traffic jam that was not moving at all on Interstate 75 in Bartow County in Georgia. Fortunately, I was near an exit; so I was able to avoid being delayed by at least another hour. I later attempted to research exactly what happened — and one of the Internet web sites which resulted from a search was Yahoo! News.

Answer to What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 295

a paper in a seat
Photograph ©2025 by Brian Cohen.

For the first time, I actually purposely contributed something to what is wrong with this photograph: I incorporated my bizarre sense of humor by hastily writing the names of body parts surrounding the word WASTE on the white bag instead of the homonym waist — but the white bag is not literature; so it technically does not belong in the back of the seat as instructed by the Literature only decal on the back of the seat. Also, why does the port for Universal Serial Bus devices have the acronym USB upside down as well as right-side up — especially as it is a USB-A port, which is not reversible?

By the way, this photograph was taken aboard an airplane which was operated by American Airlines and not by Qantas Airways. That was an error on my part.

Favorite answer by derek: “What is really wrong is, in this modern age, seat backs should have screens that display a moving map, entertainment, etc. What is wrong with this photo is the label says ‘literature only’ but waste is not literature.

“Oddly, one of the previous passengers might be trying to get into medical school and is trying to remember human anatomy. Sadly, they have a long way to go if they have to write down parts, such as neck, chest, stomach, in addition to writing down leg twice to remember that humans have 2 legs, not 3 or 6. However, when studying, we have to start somewhere!!!”

Favorite comment by Jim F.: “OK, I’m confused…which really doesn’t take much. The second paragraph states that this photo ‘…was taken aboard a Boeing 737 airplane that was operated by Qantas Airways.’ But just to the right of the QR code are instructions to ‘…visit aainflight.com….’”

  1. Bart Wo is a Chinese name, unlikely to be the name of the county (see the first line of the news report, not the TV photo). Curiously, there is an Instagram user with the presumably real name of Bart Wo and user name of @bld450. Also a Flickr user.

Also maybe there was an attempt to divert traffic off the interstate but I see a lot of cars still on it.

  2. Dr. Harry W. Brown is not a physician. He is a chiropractor. That is very dangerous. Chiropractors do dangerous maneuvers to the neck, which have caused strokes and/or broken necks. Some believe that society has no role (zero) for chiropractors. Instead, they recommend seeing a physician and physical therapist. Some physicians specialize in PM&R (physical medical and rehabilitation). Some orthopedic surgeons are interested in non-surgical injuries and/or sports medicine.

The theory behind chiropractors is that all diseases are because of misalignment of the spine. Sorry to offend some, but that is quakery.

    1. Quackery, not earthquake.

Sorry to offend chiropractors. However, to call them good is like airlines using the word “enhancement” to describe a disaster.
