What Is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 316

The Gate is at the gate. Again.

For this edition of this popular game, can you guess what you believe is wrong — or, at least, seemingly quite bizarre — with this photograph part 316?

I do not know what is going on with the entrances of apartment complexes; but I was leaving through the main entrance of an apartment complex in Georgia and waiting for the gate to open so that I may drive on to my destination.

Answer to What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 315

The Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge in California offers a choice of two options for dining for the convenience of its guests — or even for visitors who are not staying at the hotel property — but the times of which both dining options are in operation are unclear. Is The Garden Bar open on Sundays or not? Does The Garden Grille close at 10:00 in the morning or 11:00 in the morning?

This is enough to scramble your eggs.

Favorite answer by derek: “The opening times of the two places are inconsistent, depending on who you ask. Maybe ask the same question 5 times?!!

“The Garden Grill appears to be a place for breakfast. Breakfast is 6 am to 10 am. However, look above that, where the hours extend to 11 am or 11:30 am, depending on the day. OK, they let you slowly eat the food and talk, just no new food. But look again. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours start at 6:30 am. Be prepared to look through the locked glass door for 30 minutes while breakfast is waiting but you can only see it, not touch it, eat it, or be in the same room as it!

“The Garden Bar is even worse. On Sunday, there are hours but further down, no food. Do they expect you to sit, salivate, but get no food and eventually go to McDonald’s or KFC?”

Favorite comment by jsm: “Where are the gardens?”

  1. Reading from left to right…”STOP”…”DO NOT STOP”…”KEEP CLEAR…Moving gate can cause serious injury or death.” At least the visitor has been warned. Actually, this collection of signs makes sense. The sign on the left is telling you the gate opens TOWARD the approaching vehicle (although, ideally, this sign should be placed somewhat before the gate itself since if you’re too close, the gate could presumably open into your vehicle). The center sign is saying that once the gate opens and you enter, to continue because if you don’t, the automatic gate could smash into the rear of your vehicle. The sign on the right (all of the signs were probably recommended by the location’s liability lawyer!) is actually the most interesting because it pictures an individual (presumably a pedestrian) being hit by the gate along with the words, “Pedestrians must use separate entrance.”
