A s of the time this article has been posted, additional states have joined Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Indiana — on which I reported in this article posted on Friday, December 12, 2014 — where fuel stations are selling gasoline at fewer than $2.00 per gallon…
…but which states are these; and where are those fuel stations located — especially the ones with the lowest prices for gasoline in the United States, as no fewer than seven states host fuel stations whose prices are fewer than $1.80 per gallon?
Here is a list of the growing number of states — according to GasBuddy.com — where fuel stations selling gasoline at fewer than $2.00 per gallon are located:
- Georgia will be on your mind with gasoline prices as low as $1.91 in Ringgold, which is near the Tennessee border — and I hope they filter down to the Atlanta area soon, which at one time years ago had the lowest gasoline prices in the United States
- Washington Five fuel stations in Cle Elum and Wapato barely broke the $2.00 per gallon barrier — starting at $1.93 per gallon
- Mississippi Good news if you are driving in Meridian or Fulton: gasoline is sold for as low as $1.92 per gallon, where people do not Mississippi those gasoline prices greater than $2.00 per gallon
