Wyndham Rewards is now a transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards

...but is it the best use of your Chase Ultimate Rewards points?

Two powerful rewards ecosystems have been brought together as Wyndham Rewards is now a transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards — which gives cardmembers a new way to redeem their points.

Wyndham Rewards is now a transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards

Eligible Chase cardmembers can transfer points at a 1:1 rate into their Wyndham Rewards membership accounts, and redeem them across thousands of hotel properties, vacation club resorts, and vacation rentals worldwide — along with exclusive experiences, gift cards, and a wide range of rewards.

Among the terms and conditions of this partnership is the statement that “Most point transfers process by the next business day, but may take up to 7 business days.”

Other terms and conditions — including those of the Wyndham Rewards membership program — apply.

Final Boarding Call

The sale of Wyndham Rewards points occurs on a regular basis and is reported at The Gate With Brian Cohen. Just last month in the latest offer that is now expired, you could have gotten up to a 100 percent bonus on your purchase of Wyndham Rewards points, which came out to $0.065 per Wyndham Rewards point.

Transferring Ultimate Rewards points from Chase to the Wyndham Rewards membership program is not the best use of your points because you could use Chase Ultimate Rewards points on offers with better value.

Aside from a situation that requires immediate attention, you are likely better off waiting to purchase Wyndham Rewards points during one of their sales that occurs regularly.
