As today is Easter Sunday on April 9, 2023, photographs of crosses at El Santuario Inmaculada Concepción del Cerro San Cristóbal — which is known in English as the Sanctuary of the Immaculate Conception on San Cristóbal Hill — in Chile seemed to be appropriate; but I was more than double crossed in Santiago.
Double Crossed in Santiago. Sunday Morning Photograph.
Numerous colorful crosses — each one decorated individually and signed by the artist — line the walkway to the giant statue at the top of San Cristóbal Hill, which has an incredible view of the city of Santiago below.
Final Boarding Call
Could I say that visitors were double crossed many times on their way up to the giant statue and the Sanctuary of the Immaculate Conception at the top of San Cristóbal Hill, as greater than two crosses are located near the top of the hill?
May you have a happy and joyous Easter Sunday 2023 — wherever in the world you may be located when reading this article.
