If you are traveling to, from, or within the central region and southeastern region of the United States over the next couple of days or so, expect delays and cancellations of flights. Final Boarding Call
Keep in mind that just because an airline issued travel waivers for some airports does not mean that your flight will not be affected. Travel will be hazardous in the southeastern United States even though no travel waivers were issued, which could cause delays or cancellations…
…and the domino effect of delays and cancellations could affect flights at airports where the weather may be optimal for flight.
Do not be surprised to see additional airlines issue travel waivers — as well as existing travel waivers being extended — as these winter weather systems progress towards the northeast.
Be sure to contact your airline or transportation provider for the latest information pertaining to your travels — if they are adversely affected — and please: travel safely.
