The limited time flavor consists of the sweet smell of birthday cake — decorated with colorful sprinkles, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream — and will be available every morning in August of 2024 to greet hungry guests, who can use waffle irons to prepare them hot and fresh for themselves. These waffles embody the spirit and nostalgia of celebration and the joy of travel as the perfect treat for all summer adventures.
Hampton Inn was founded as a budget hotel brand in 1984 by the Holiday Corporation, which owned the Holiday Inn brand before it was acquired through several business deals over the years to what is known today as InterContinental Hotels Group. Its first hotel property was located in Memphis in Tennessee. After experiencing some financial difficulties in late 1989, Holiday Corporation had prepared to sell its Holiday Inn hotel properties and started Promus Hotel Corporation, which was a holding company that included Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, and Homewood Suites.
Promus Hotel Corporation was purchased in 1999 by what was then known as Hilton Worldwide for $3.7 billion. At that point, Hampton Inn had already changed from a budget hotel brand to a middle-market limited service hotel brand to compete with Holiday Inn.

You can offer a toast to 40 years of exceptional service with a smile with Hampton by Hilton; but I prefer waffles over toast any day of the week.
Birthday cake is not one of my favorite flavors; but I am curious to try it the next time I am at a Hampton by Hilton hotel property.
The fresh hot waffles are certainly what helps the breakfast at Hampton by Hilton to stand out over breakfasts that are offered by competitors, in my opinion — especially with whipped cream and either fruit or a topping which is created from fruit…
