Lock In Current Thrifty Traveler Premium+ Rate Now Before the Price Increases

Thrifty Traveler Premium+ is the ultimate bundle that includes deals on both flights and lodging — and thus helps you save money, miles, and points…

…but if you act now, you can lock in the current rate of $124.99 per year for life, thanks to the lifetime price guarantee of Thrifty Traveler — so you will never pay more per year; and you will avoid having to pay $149.99 per year after April 1.

If you already subscribe as a member to Thrifty Traveler Premium, you can add Hotel Alerts to your subscription for only $24.99 per year before the price increases.

You will receive deals on:

  • Domestic flights
  • International flights
  • Discounted business class fares
  • Discounted first class fares
  • Reduced redemption rates to use your miles and points on award tickets
  • “Mistake” fares
  • “Unicorn” deals
  • Premium members Facebook group
  • Hotel alerts in flight deals
  • Hotel alerts that can be booked with points

Thrifty Traveler Hotel Alerts was launched last year as an exciting optional add-on to its Premium service — which means that it is the only travel service on the market that finds and sends members both flight deals and lodging deals. The new Flight + Hotels bundled tier is called Thrifty Traveler Premium+ and includes:

  • Tons of deeply discounted flight deals and award alerts bookable with points and miles

  • 2-3 Hotel Alerts per week, focusing on top-rated resorts, new hotel properties, and luxury properties that can be booked with hotel points from the big four chains: Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, and IHG

    • Thrifty Traveler Premium+ also now features hotel deal recommendations in almost all Premium Flight Deals; so a flight alert to London will also include a handful of great London hotel deals as well — including discounted paid rates as well as points deals.

In the months since launching Hotel Alerts, Thrifty Traveler Premium+ sent subscribers some stellar hotel deals — including but not limited to:

  • Ultra-rare availability to book the all-inclusive, Caribbean private island retreat Calala Island for 150,000 Hilton Honors points per night

  • The Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills — one of the best (and lately, hardest-to-book) points properties in Japan — bookable for as low as 25,000 World of Hyatt points per night

  • Months of availability at the Alila Ventana Big Sur bookable for 40,000 World of Hyatt points per night — long before any other site noticed it, giving members a window to book their reservations

  • All-inclusive resorts like Hermitage Bay (Hilton), Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun (Hyatt), W Punta Cana (Marriott), Kimpton Tres Rios (IHG) — all bookable with points.

Final Boarding Call

As a member of Thrifty Traveler Premium, I can personally attest that this service has saved me more money than what I paid for it — and although I could have searched for many of the deals myself, this service has also saved me a lot of time; so I am considering upgrading my membership to Thrifty Traveler Premium+…

…but if you want to lock in the current annual rate for life, you need to subscribe as a member of Thrifty Traveler Premium+ prior to Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

  1. I was fortunate enough to subscribe to Thrifty Traveler back when the annual fee was…get this…$30. And, keeping to the TT promise, it has never gone up. Even at the increased rate, it will pay for itself quickly, even perhaps on your first incredible flight deal, and you’ll be glad you joined. To wit, in January, I got a notification of a roundtrip from ATL to HNL in full economy (not that basic garbage) for $376 RT. Because I had a few miles on United I got it down to $355 RT. Amazing fare. I went for a week from March 4 to 11…superb weather and should season so very reasonable accommodations. The base fare was so low I used cash to upgrade to first in all 4 segments (stopover in SFO) and still came in at around $1300 RT…for first class from ATL…let that sink in. I was prompted to upgrade not just because of the ridiculously low base fare, but also because United offered the chance to fly in its lie flat seats (I know, it’s the crazy B777 fling backwards seats but still beats economy) from SFO to HNL and on the return leg.

Get your membership to TT before it goes up again. Other flight deals I’ve taken advantage of include biz class from ORD to CPT on Lufthansa’s 747-8 riding in the bubble for under $1800, IAD to FCO in British Airways’ biz class for a shade over $2k and JFK to FCO for the same fare. And many others…oh, including the flight I just booked from ATL-MIA-CUN flying in first from ATL to MIA then in Flagship Biz on AA from MIA to Cancun all for a tad over $850 RT. All because of TT…no, I make no money from the statements above. I just know that TT has changed my life when it comes to travelling up front for a fraction of the typical cost.
