No More Earning IHG Rewards Club Points by Completing Surveys
…but if you were hoping to complete a survey to either extend the expiration of your IHG Rewards Club points — or if you were simply hoping to score some easy points — you are out of luck, as this option quietly ceased as of Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
If you navigate to the area of more ways to earn points with partners of the IHG Rewards Club frequent guest loyalty program, you will see the option to let your opinions be rewarded.

Summary
One would think that if a link is no good anymore that the option would be removed after almost six months — but it is still there.
Earning points via completing a survey was arguably the easiest, quickest, and least expensive way to earn IHG Rewards Club points, which used to be super easy to earn years ago.
That distinction now arguably goes to earning IHG Rewards Club points when you dine out — if you can find a participating restaurant near you in which you would like to dine — and if you can spend $30.00 at any participating restaurant during your first 30 days of membership after joining IHG Rewards Club Dining, you will earn 1,000 bonus IHG Rewards Club points…
…but you must create a web login and register a valid credit card and/or debit card to your account by Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 11:59 in the evening Eastern Daylight Time. Other terms and restrictions apply.
