Whether I travel the world or simply walk near where I am based in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, I notice signs. Metal signs. Illuminated signs. Signs, cosigns and tangents.
That tangent I took may be a sign that you may already get where I am going with this article — so resign yourself to some awkward humor even though you did not cosign up for it.
This new series of articles will feature five photographs of various signs which were spotted during my travels around the world — and for this third edition, random outdoor signs in the United States are being featured.

Putting up this sign must have been a real pane in the glass, as I am sure that the owner was rather touched. It really cracks me up — but I can still see right through that…
So how much longer are we supposed to practice “social distancing”? Until we get it right? Will a final examination be required — and if so, will it be proctored?
When I noticed this notice thanking me for noticing this notice, I noticed how many times the word notice was used in this notice — noting that I noticed too much of the notice of the notice to notice the notice which I was supposed to have noticed.
Notice that I noticed how I refrained from overusing the word notice…
…so does the boardwalk begin — or does it end? Wood its mind ever be made up — or will it be too board to care?!?
No other body parts are allowed here. No arm traffic, no knee traffic, no hip traffic — not even any traffic ahead is permitted whether on the land itself or on the shoulder, as that would be a complete waist.
Warmers, unicycles and tricycles, and boards for all marine life other than skates are allowed, though — but they would be required to get their boards from the aforementioned boardwalk…
…if they can figure out whether it begins or ends…
