Final Boarding Call
Perhaps the Transportation Security Administration is serious this time around in improving the experience of passengers that pass through security checkpoints at airports while simultaneously improving the security of the screening process?
The ‘Shoes-Off’ policy officially ended at airport security checkpoints after being in force for approximately 24 years effective as of Tuesday, July 8, 2025 — meaning that all passengers are no longer required to removed their shoes when passing through a security checkpoint at airports across the United States.
I can actually see artificial intelligence being put to potentially good use at the security checkpoints of airports in terms of faster and more accurate screening with fewer employees…
