I am fascinated by the unique features and colors of Great Salt Lake in Utah every time I am a passenger aboard an airplane flying over it. I was no less fascinated when I recently had a chance to view a sunset at Great Salt Lake from the air.

Great Salt Lake is both the largest salt water lake in the Western Hemisphere and the eighth-largest terminal lake in the world.

Landscapes with water tend to go quite well with sunrises and sunsets for interesting photographs.
