What Is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 278

I was floored by this decal.

For this edition of this popular game, can you guess what you believe is wrong — or, at least, seemingly quite bizarre — with this photograph part 278?

Every time I look at this decal that is affixed to the floor of each car of The Plane Train at the international airport that serves the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, I cringe a little bit. Can you guess the reason why?

  1. I find it interesting that the end lines of the crossbar on the capital “T” in “Train” are more slanted than those on the capital “T” in “The.” Also, the origin of the plane seems to be under the train. And, finally, the airplane on the front of the train vaguely resembles the logo for Ben’s/Lucky’s blog (One Mile at a Time).

  2. I know of no single engine passenger jet. Either that or it’s a DC-10 that lost both engines on the wings. In the late 1970’s, an American Airlines Dc-10 lost one engine while taking off at O’Hare, causing a fatal crash, but never both engines on the wings. Losing both engines (falling off) would be very wrong and, if photographed, would be what is wrong with the photo.
