Answer to What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 329
Greater than 9,000 rooms were added to the portfolio of Marriott International, Incorporated by the end of 2024 as a licensing agreement for the long term with Sonder Holdings Incorporated was announced on Monday, August 19, 2024 to create Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy, which became brand number 35 — but Sonder is no longer brand number 35 of Marriott as the licensing agreement abruptly ended effective as of Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Despite the bad news, appearing near the bottom of the official press release from Sonder Holdings Incorporated in its entirety from Monday, November 10, 2025 is the following statement:
“Sonder is transforming the future of hospitality. To keep up, drop us a line – we’d love to hear from you!”
Favorite answer and comment by derek: “A wind-down is supposed to be a controlled process so ‘immediate wind-down’ are incompatible words. The wind-down is also incompatible with the motto near the bottom, ‘Sonder is transforming the future of hospitality’, by disappearing???”
