Answer to What is Wrong With This Photograph? Part 346

Matthew Cohen received a weather alert on his portable electronic device recently and thought that this would be a good entry in this ongoing series of articles, as the freeze watch initially seems confusing with the high temperature being 81 degrees Fahrenheit and the low temperature being 53 degrees Fahrenheit — but the freeze watch was for the next day.
More and more places around the United States seem to claim that if you want different weather, just wait a bit.
Favorite answer by Jim F.: “More context is needed. The temperature where I am sitting is more than 20 degrees (Fahrenheit) warmer than the same time 24 hours ago. So, although the temperatures on the screenshot would seem to make a ‘freeze watch’ unlikely, it’s certainly not impossible to have a swing of 21 degrees (53-21=32) in spring.”
Favorite comment by rmah: “absolutely zero doubt, it’s in kelvin!”
