Watching birds in flight at Whidbey Island was like viewing sheer poetry in motion. Their synchronized motions seem unmatched as their choreographed flight occurred not far south of Deception Pass.

With the calm waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca setting the backdrop off the coast of the state of Washington, the birds seemed to fly around in a beautifully organized chaotic melodic dance.
Their movements seemed rather carefree as the sounds of their calls interrupted the stillness of the air over the water.
Final Boarding Call
Watching these flocks of birds fly was a carefree moment for me.
