Guests baking their own Belgian waffles has become quite popular at Hampton by Hilton hotel properties over the years; and continuous improvement on the concept is ongoing to help further increase its popularity.
Last year in 2024, Hampton by Hilton celebrated National Waffle Day by unveiling its first-ever group of Hampton Waffle Bosses, according to this official press release at Stories From Hilton. “This trio of exceptional breakfast hosts from around the globe have been recognized for their outstanding skills in creating innovative recipes for Hampton’s signature and seasonal waffle flavors. The Waffle Boss title, awarded as part of the brand’s 40th-anniversary celebrations, is the culmination of an internal talent search in collaboration with the iconic Paris Hilton. These Waffle Bosses exemplify Hampton’s signature service culture, bringing to life a warm, welcoming spirit through their unique waffle creations and exceptional service at breakfast—two hallmarks of the Hampton experience.”
Well, the time has come when you could be the next Guest Waffle Boss. You are invited to step behind the waffle iron and help create the next limited-time waffle flavor for Hampton by Hilton — one that will be served at almost 2,450 hotel properties across the United States and Canada.
Starting today, Friday, August 22, 2025 through Friday, September 5, 2025, you can enter this fun competition by completing an entry form and submitting a short video of fewer than 60 seconds sharing why you love the waffles at Hampton by Hilton — as well what craveable new flavor you created.
If you win the grand prize, you get:
- The honor of earning the title of Guest Waffle Boss
- Your winning flavor of waffle served in all Hampton by Hilton hotel properties in the United States next year
- A five-night stay at any Hampton by Hilton hotel property
- One million Hilton Honors points
Entries will be judged by a panel of breakfast pros — including the original Waffle Boss of Hampton by Hilton herself, Beverly Christmas — based on creativity, originality, and flavor appeal.
Recipes which have been developed by the three Hampton Waffle Bosses last year included lemon waffles, savory bacon and eggs waffles, black pudding and bacon waffles, tomato and mushroom waffles, and Cumberland sausage and orange zest waffles.
This breakfast dream gig comes with bragging rights and a shot at flavor fame. Hampton has whipped up some fun favorites over the years — Birthday Cake, S’mores, Lemon — and now it is your turn to mix it up.

I happen to enjoy a freshly baked Belgian waffle whenever I stay at a Hampton by Hilton hotel property — I like mine with fruit, chocolate, and lots of whipped cream — and limited time flavors add to the experience whenever they are available…
