The dining area was stylish and quiet, with natural light flooding inside through the large windows. The greenery just outside of the windows was calming.

Sliced fresh bread was served at the table.

…or the cheese does not need to be included, which is what I preferred. I know: silly me.

The Ensalada de Tomate Local included tomatoes, fresh mozzarella mousse, black olive, arugula, pesto, and the aforementioned crusty bread.

Salmón Curado comprised of house-made cured salmon, lemon, fresh oregano, and smoked chili mayo — but instead of crispy skin, the salmon was encased in a long thin slice of cucumber that was shaped like a backwards letter S; and crusty bread was on the plate as well.

Funghi e Formaggio is seasonal mushrooms with garlic and onion and a choice of either pecorino cheese or nuts vegan cheese. Penne pasta with pecorino cheese were chosen for this quite tasty dish.

Either fettuccine, spaghetti, penne, or fusilli can be ordered for all pasta dishes.

Vegetales Verdes comprised of pasta with seasonal green vegetables, garlic, onion, goat cheese, parmigiano, or without cheese. Fettuccine with no cheese was chosen for this dish, which was light and tasty. I almost always enjoy fettuccine.

Affogato Tradicional is a dessert that is comprised of espresso coffee and a choice of vanilla gelato, chocolate gelato, or vegan gelato. Chocolate gelato was chosen.

I found that the coffee flavor of the affogato was way too strong for my taste when it was served as a dessert for the tasting menu for Tempo by Hilton hotel properties. This affogato was close to perfect.

Biscotto Tropical is biscotti with vanilla ice cream, banana, passion fruit, and roasted pineapple.

Final Boarding Call

Based on my experience, I recommend dining at La Luce. It was the best of all of the restaurants in which I dined at the Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort property, in my opinion. The food was very good overall and tasted like it was freshly prepared; the ambiance was nice and relaxing with ambient natural lighting; and the service was very good.
