Los Angeles Olympics 2028 Livery of Delta Air Lines Spotted in Atlanta

Is flying to Europe and back within 22 hours considered an Olympic sport?

During our sojourn of 22 hours to Europe and back which was originally an attempt to go from Georgia to Georgia via Amsterdam, the Los Angeles Olympics 2028 livery of Delta Air Lines was spotted at the international airport which serves the greater Atlanta metropolitan area.

An Airbus A350-900 airplane with registration number N522DZ sported the livery, as Delta Air Lines is the Official Airline of Team USA and an inaugural Founding Partner of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Los Angeles will host both the 2028 Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic Games from Friday, July 14, 2028 through Sunday, July 30, 2028. The last time Los Angeles hosted the Summer Olympic Games was in 1984; and prior to that, Los Angeles hosted its first Summer Olympic Games in 1932.

The airplane on which I was a passenger was taxiing to the runway for takeoff; so the photograph is not of the best quality nor from better angles because I spotted the livery at the very last minute and took a couple of photographs.

I have in my possession a special Canon F1 film camera which commemorates the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The only Summer Olympic Games which I have ever attended was the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.

The logo for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games is okay, I suppose, as I find nothing great about it…
